My Story…
So many people I know have been impacted by migraine in big or small ways. I wish it weren't still impacting me in big ways. I am glad to be partnered with Georgetown Headache clinic in trying to get more good days and moments into my life.
What Georgetown does is remarkable. While providing the best possible care for their patients, the doctors also work tirelessly to break down the barriers to relief through research, advocacy and building the bench of future specialists. This event supports the Georgetown Headache Fellows. These are doctors who have already trained to be neurologists and are getting additional training and education in migraine and headache disorders.
Five years ago there were only 500 specialists to serve over 40 million people with migraine and other complex headache conditions. Now, there are over 700. And half a dozen were trained at Georgetown and are working across the country.
Please help increase access and effectiveness of care and give today. Thanks to all of you who have given in past years. Anything you can do again this year would be greatly appreciated
