I first had a migraine attack in 2015, but wasn't sure what it was. I went the next four years experiencing frequent dizziness, light sensitivity, and head pain before ending up in the ER my sophomore year of college. It was then that I was referred to a neurologist, who has helped me treat my migraines and changed my life. I experienced the shortage of specialists first hand when making that appointment, and still to this day when my wait time as an existing patient is several weeks. Miles for Migraine is working to address this issue to ensure people with migraine can find a specialist and treatment to help relieve the pain of the disease.
